“How do I replace my Austin Air Purifier filter” is a question that we hear from many of our customers. Replacing the filter on a standard or junior Austin Air purifier is as easy as 1, 2, 3! Here are the 3 steps to follow when replacing your filter.
- Unplug the unit and turn it upside down on a soft surface (rug, carpet, towel).
- Unscrew the four screws on the bottom of the purifier. You will need a regular screw driver. Pull out the old filter canister which will be round. Be sure to remove the pre-filter which looks like a blanket that is wrapped around the canister.
- Put the new filter in the unit with the pre-filter wrapped around the canister. Screw the 4 screws back into the bottom of the unit. Turn it right side up, plug it in, and run it on high for one hour. Then turn it back to the normal speed.
You’re done! Fresh air is on it’s way to you.
