Maintenance for the Austin Air HealthMate almost qualifies as no maintenance. It is recommended that you wipe the outside of your purifier with a damp cloth, or vacuum it with the brush attachment several times a month to pull big particles away from the prefilter. Other than that, with normal use it’s 5 years before you need to change the filter!
